Privacy Policy for Connect and Conquer LLC
Last Updated: October 4, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines how Connect and Conquer LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your personal information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
| Information Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Personal Information | Name, email address, and phone number |
| Game Data | Game codes, player names, and game statistics |
| User-Generated Content | Content shared within our game and platform |
| Technical Information | Device information, IP addresses, and browser type |
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve our mobile game, Snapshot Capture, and other services.
- To communicate with you, including sending game updates and notifications.
- To analyze user behavior and preferences to enhance user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
- No game in Snapshot Play has a sponsor today, and we do not share your information with sponsors. If a game ever has one, it will say before you join exactly what would be shared with the sponsor and why, joining will be your choice, and this policy will be updated first.
4. Sharing Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Other players within the Snapshot Capture game as required by the game’s functionality.
- Service providers who assist us in delivering our services.
- Legal authorities when required by law.
5. Your Choices
You can:
- Review and update your personal information through your account settings.
- Opt-out of receiving non-essential communications.
- Request the removal of your images and personal data
6. Security
We employ security measures to protect your data. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or store personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of significant changes through email or our website.
9. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@connectandconquer.com.
Website
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
To play the game, you take photos in the app and upload them to our servers. The app saves each photo without the location data a camera can embed in it. If you allow location, the place where each snapshot was taken is saved separately, so the host of the game can see where captures happened (see “The Snapshot Play app” below).
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
For game play, your images are shared with others in that game including spectators. Only registered accounts can join games.
For games with prizes, the images captured may be used to verify and celebrate the win. No game in Snapshot Play has a sponsor today; if one ever does, it will say before you join exactly what would be shared and why, and joining will be your choice.
How long we retain your data
If you play a game, leave a comment, or upload an image, these items and there metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can further game play or recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. During game play, images are sent to other players and spectators.
The Snapshot Play app
When you use the Snapshot Play app we collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number and date of birth, which you give when you create an account. Your phone number is your sign-in name, your email address is used to send password reset codes, and your date of birth is used to confirm that you are 13 or older.
- Photos: your face photo and the snapshots you take in games. They are shown to the other people in your games.
- Location: if you allow it, the place where each snapshot was taken is saved with it, so the host of the game can see where captures happened. You can decline location and still play.
- A device token, used only to send you game alerts. Alerts are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging and Apple‘s push notification service.
- A record of your token purchases. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising or to track you across other apps or websites.
Saving and sharing. You can save a snapshot, a game’s recap video or your journey video to your phone, or share it with any app you choose, and the other people in your games can do the same with the photos and recaps of those games. A saved or shared copy is outside Snapshot Play: whoever has it controls it, and deleting a photo or your account in Snapshot Play does not delete copies already saved or shared.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app: open the You tab, then Settings, then Delete account. Photos you took are removed and your profile is deleted. Your name and face photo may still appear in the results of games you played with other people. To ask for those to be removed as well, or for a copy of your data, write to support@connectandconquer.com.
